Central Point Oregon Travel

A stop-n-out is a tradition for countless excursionists from California, who see the famous yellow arrow logo as they drive past. A few motels just off Interstate 5 are located in the heart of Central Point, Oregon, just a few miles north of downtown Portland. Located on the corner of Main Street and Main Avenue, just off the highway, this motel is a great jogging experience. It offers great views of Portland's skyline and Oregon State Capitol, as well as a beautiful view of Mt. Hood.

There is also a visitor centre, open all day, which provides you with a lot of information about the natural environment. In the same center is the Medford Visitor Information Center, where you can get hiking maps, walking guides, hiking maps and even a ride - in a car.

People of all ages and abilities can enjoy themselves at Kelley Point Park, which is located at the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia rivers. Otherwise, you can visit the Tualatin River, which flows through the city of Ashland and flows into the Columbia River, the main source of water on the Oregon coast.

The viewpoint on the headland is 800 feet above the Pacific Ocean and from here you can see Bird Island, also called Sheep Island, the largest island on the Oregon coast. It is also a popular destination for kayaking, canoeing, fishing and other outdoor activities, as well as for hiking.

The wooden tulip farm is one of the best attractions in the area, although there is a detour if you want to stop and need a break, right off the highway. If I-5 gets too quiet and the engine is running, the road to Medford Dragstrip at Central Point can be diverted for a few miles into the woods.

Most of the redwoods are located on a small strip of land in California, but some of them are in Oregon, Oregon State Park and other parts of Oregon and Washington.

There are a few motels, but if you prefer to stay close to the restaurants and shops in downtown Medford, you will find few other Motel 6s in the area.

The city also has the Oregon State Capitol, which is open to the public, and you will find several in town, as well as a motel located near Eagle Point. Eagle Point, known as the Gate of the Lakes, is a small town in central Oregon, north of Medford and east of Portland. There are a few restaurants and shops in the city centre and a number of small hotels and motels along the waterfront. Nickname "Gate of the Lakes" EaglePoint has a variety of restaurants, bars, shops and restaurants in and around downtown.

Central Point also has many architecturally elaborate libraries, which contain a large number of books and serve as great learning spaces. Spanish wines grown in Oregon (see here) and tasting rooms, as well as the Bear Creek Wine Trail, which stretches from Talent to Medford and back to Ashland. There are over a dozen independent wineries, some of which are open to the public, as well as a number of restaurants and shops.

Adults who don't play can also do plenty of things at Seven Feathers Casino Resort, such as visit the state's only air-conditioned games room and restaurant, walk through the casino and visit the restaurants. There are many attractions, but if you get off at exit 307 instead, there are a number of things you can do right on the water, from a strip mall to a golf course to an aquarium. If you're heading to Eugene to visit the University of Oregon campus, visit the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, which houses the world's largest collection of late 19th and early 20th century art, or visit a Portland museum, Oregon State Museum or Portland Art Museum.
